1. The ingredients required

Material:

  • 300 grams of glutinous rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 175 ml of water
  • 2 pandan leaves
  • 250 grams of brown sugar
  • 250 ml coconut milk

2. Soak the glutinous rice

First, take sticky rice. Put it in a container, then start washing the glutinous rice thoroughly.

Then soak for 2 hours. If it has been soaked for 2 hours, discard the glutinous rice soaking water, and drain it.

3. Parboil the glutinous rice

Prepare a steamer pan, place it on the stove. Pour enough water, cover the pot nest.

Then enter the glutinous rice, then turn on the stove over medium heat. Steam the rice until it’s half cooked. When it’s half cooked, turn off the heat and set aside.

4. Steam again until completely cooked

Next, put the water with the pandan leaves in the pan, let it boil. Then enter the steamed glutinous rice, cook, stirring constantly, until absorbed.

Turn off the heat, remove from heat and transfer to a steamer pan. Then steam again until completely cooked, turn off the heat. Remove and drain.

Take and place the skillet on the stove. Add coconut milk, brown sugar and salt. Then start turning on the stove over medium heat, cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the coconut milk thickens.

Next, enter the sticky rice while continuing to stir until it is completely absorbed into the sticky rice, turn off the heat. Remove, then pour the diamond on the baking sheet that has been covered with banana leaves. Flatten, let it cool, then cut into pieces according to taste.
