Delicious Banana Cake Recipe Suitable for Tea Drinking Friends

1. It’s a necessary ingredient
- 1 banana, cut into small cubes
- 400 ml warm coconut milk
- 150 gr rice flour
- 90 grams of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder
- Yellow food coloring
- Salt to taste
- 1 banana, cut into rounds
- 75 gr rice flour
- 300 ml warm coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon salt to taste
- Vanilla powder to taste
2. Make a yellow layer first
Prepare a container, then add the rice flour, sugar, salt and vanilla powder. Then, pour the warm coconut milk into the rice flour mixture little by little while stirring. Give a few drops of food coloring.
3. Continue by pouring the dough into the mold
Grease the bowl mold with cooking oil. Next, pour the talam cake mixture into it as much as 3/4 or you could say not to the full. Then, give a banana slice to each mold. Do this step until the dough runs out.
4. Steam until slightly cooked
Heat a steamer pan. After that, put the mold that is already filled with talam cake batter in it. Leave it until the dough is slightly cooked.
5. Add a white layer, then steam until cooked
Meanwhile, mix the rice flour, salt, and vanilla powder in another container. Stir until all ingredients are combined. Then, pour the warm coconut milk into it, stirring it, set aside.
Remove the lid and check the doneness. If it’s a little cooked, pour the white layer of dough on top. Add one banana slice on top. Cook until the talam cake is cooked for about 10 minutes. Lift, remove from mold, then serve.
