1. The ingredients required


  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 kg of potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
  • 25 gr flour
  • 400ml of milk
  • 50 gr butter
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 50 grams of frozen sweet corn
  • 50 grams of frozen peas
  • 50 gr grated cheddar cheese
  • fresh chives, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste

2. Make potato dough

The first step, put the chopped potatoes into the pot and add water. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until the texture is tender.

Then, drain and mash. Add milk, butter, salt and black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well blended.

3. Heat the salmon

Place the salmon on a plate. If the salmon is frozen, then heat it in the microwave for about 4 to 5 minutes. If the salmon isn’t frozen, then simply heat it for about 2 to 3 minutes. Then cut the salmon into small pieces.

4. Make the pie filling

In a skillet, saute the butter, flour and chives. Gradually add the milk and cheddar cheese. Stir for 4 minutes until thickened.

Then, add the salmon, spring onions, peas, and sweetcorn. Season with salt and pepper, then stir until all ingredients are combined.

5. Bake pies and serve

Arrange the potato dough in the pan for the very bottom. Then, arrange the pie fill as a second layer. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.

Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes until they are bubbly and browned.
